Ok, so after cardio today, I was drenched.... Im 230 lbs but have the heart of a Kenyan when doing cardio . At the end of my workout (40 min run @ 6.0 treadmill) I look in the mirror and my wife beater is red around both nipples... i dont know if it was blood or do they just sweat a different colour? I thought it was very weird. Thoughts? they kinda hurt if i rub them

This would happen to me on my long runs. Has this happened in the past to you at all? For me it almost always happens on hour+ runs. It hurts bad. I started putting arm deodorant on them and it got a lot better. They sell something more expensive called "Glide On" or something like that but the arm deodorant actually worked better.

 The dreaded "Runner's Nipple".
How hairy are your nipples? If they're smooth or you shave them, just put band-aids over them before a run. Corn-cushions (Dr. Scholls) work well, too and the adhesive won't get too much hair.
If you're hairy and don't want to shave then daub some vaseline on them before you run. Also: Avoid t-shirts with silkscreened prints on the front and wear loose tech-knit nylon/rayon workout gear if you can find it.
I know people who wrap ace-bandages around their torsos to deal with this but I can foresee a problem of it shifting down during the run and being uncomfortable.
A good running store should have creams/ointments you can try, and shirts designed to prevent that irritation.

Nipple bleeding is a direct result of chafing from the direct effects of rubbing against clothing, sweat, and salt. Nipples first become irritated and tender, then open wounds develop with bleeding. The raw skin and salt from sweat in these open wounds with a significant nerve supply are not comfortable in the least and take days to heal each time. Long term, scar tissue may develop from healing and re-healing that will eventually make your nipples less sensitive, something I’m sure you do not want!
Theres your answer for anyone inquiring :P ~ I thought it was more serious.
Thanks for the replies anyways guys.

Irritation. Your nipples aren't like the rest of your skin so they don't tend to blister when there's constant friction irritating them. They'll crack and bleed instead of developing a fluid bubble. Your shirt is rubbing against them thousands of times on a 40 minute run.
