Ok, so injuring my rotator cuff last night, lifting my little girl out of the bath has once again put questions in my mind.
Question like, what am a trying to achieve, where do I see myself fitness wise in a year, 5 years, 10 years?
My problem is that I have two loves, one is bodybuilding and the other is mountain biking. Bodybuilding requires that I be big and heavy, mountain biking requires that I be small, light and strong. Bodybuilding uses short powerful spurts of energy, mountain biking relies on endurance and will power.
This is a problem as the two seem to oppose each other.
Now the question is... can I do both and still be satisfied that I am doing each well?
Is it possible to be built and athletic at the same time?
