I went out today to pick up a few more things to eat (I was running out of cereal, etc.) and while I was there, I went ahead and grabbed a thing of whey protein and some glutamine. Now comes the question.
I'm 19, 5' 6'', 160, 18% BF and am concerned right now with losing the fat. I do cardio on a stationary bike three times a week (right now) and do weight training in the evenings that I do cardio.
Basically, do I take the protein before or after my morning cardio? And then after my evening weight training?
Also, the glutamine I got is in capsule form, 500 mg. The instructions say to take it once a day with a meal. Should I take this in the morning with breakfast and my multivitamin?
And, lastly, the Whey protein is EAS Advant Edge High Performance and the Glutamine is Nature's Bounty...do these brands absolutely suck? Should I just scrap them now and wait to buy some Optimum Nutrition? It wasn't horribly expensive, but I'd like to use it if it would do some good and NO bad.
Thanks for the help!
