Hey I'm trying to find a good calorie burner exercize on my off days that won't interfere with my recovery. I do 3 full body workouts a week. Oh and it's inside late at night that I'll be doing it so it can't be running or biking. Also does stretching burn calories? Thanks guys.

Burpees, Mountain climbers, Step ups, Push ups, Chins, squats, sit ups, core work.... Do a variation of these, 15-20 reps, 3 sets in a circuit with only body weight and you shouldn't see an issue with your recovery, atleast i wouldn't think so if your diet is right. Are you bulking? At 5'9", 170 pounds and 11% why are you concerned about your rest days?

The only thing wrong with what your asking, unless your prepared to give a chunk of time over 15 minutes up to anywhere near an 1 hr, i don't see it burning all the many calories. I instead would focus on diet and just rest for the day, in saying that, i don't have rest days except for sunday; there is always a reason to go to the gym.

Stretching will burn "some" calories, the amount and the reasons behind it are debatable, you certainly couldn't count on it to give you the calorie impact your looking for.

Hope I helped.

Thanks for the reply. Burpees yeah what a good idea. I don't quite have my eating habbits at an A+ level yet. I think I'm really at about 12 or 13% bf now. The stretching is because I'm getting back into kickboxing/martial arts. I use to compete when I was younger and I miss it so much. I was just curious about it burning calories.
