Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to find out if anyone could please estimate my bodyfat percentage by looking at my pics. I am planning on getting calipers in the future but right now I would like to get a rough estimate. Most of my fat is located around the abdomen and buttocks. Thanks in advance.

Please mention your height and body weight. This might help us a little more. :)

Low-mid teens would be my guess.

Surely I'm stating the obvious here, but just in case, at your weight there isn't going to be that much of a difference within the range of where your true BF% technically measures.

14% = 20.3 lbs of fat
18% = 26.1 lbs of fat

So assuming you're within this range, we're trying to eyeball a whole 6 lbs of fat.

Factoring your weight, I'd probably drop my guess down a few points, but we're still only talking about a 2-3.5 lb difference here.

Don't over emphasize the numbers. Think instead about the "look" you'd like your body to have, and set yourself up with a plan that keeps you headed in the right direction towards your goals.

You've done a nice job recomposing since you joined based on your starting picture. Keep working hard. :tucool:

Thanks alot for your input everyone. I will buy calipers to get a better reading for myself anyways. Btw, goonie, I basically recomposed by mainly playing alot more sports and running and eating better but not with a proper plan (I have learned alot more about proper nutrition since then that I hope to incorporate). Nice to know that you went back and looked at my starting pic, thanks for noticing. I am actually now trying to assemble a proper plan that includes resistance training and a proper diet to follow. I was just too anxious in the beginning and gave up on the weight training, but I think I am ready to commit to it. I still look and feel skinny with alot less pudge than before, but pudge nonetheless that I want to get rid of, and hopefully gain some muscle.
