Since I've been trying to choose the right tracking site for some while, I've seen several of those, so I thought it could be a nice idea to have one place where people can review (and read reviews about) these sites. I will start with a few, and add some more later on (and you are welcome to add others as well).
MyPlate: http://www.thedailyplate.com/
Measurements: only weight (but with goals), neck, waist, hips, chest (the rest are available to paying customers) (3/5)
Exercise: almost nothing (0/5)
Nutrition: very cumbersome and non-intuitive (1/5)
Social: Forum and Groups are available (3/5)
i18n: US-centric
Mobility: nothing
Misc: only a small subset of the full feature list is available to free customers
Gyminee: http://www.gyminee.com/
Measurements: very good tracking including flash charts and goals (5/5)
Exercise: a convenient way to define and track workouts, including cardio. Not too many exercises though (but one can define one's own) (4/5)
Nutrition: a nice meal planner (no nutritional supplements though). Overall a very nice feature (4/5)
Social: all the usual stuff and more (5/5)
i18n: US-centric :(
Mobility: an iPhone app
Misc: the site is choke-full with features, and a bit heavy on the uptake (flash is a must).gymlobby: http://www.gymlobby.com/
Measurements: no measurements! (except the weight, strangely located under the nutrition menu) (0/5)
Exercise: lots of exercises, can define workout templates. No cardio (3/5)
Nutrition: no easy way to lookup and define meals (1/5)
Social: all the usual stuff is present (4/5)
i18n: US-centric (1/5)
Mobility: no PDA app or mobile access.
Misc: no support for Firefox!Fittracker: fittracker.shapefit.com (http://fittracker.shapefit.com/)
Measurements: all the major measurements are present, with charts. Goals can't be defined (4/5)
Exercise: the exercises are present. No way to easily put together a workout program and to track it quickly. Cardio is present though. (2/5)
Nutrition: no easy way to define recurring meals and the search is no good (1/5)
Social: all the usual features are present (4/5)
i18n: US-centric (even though requires location info during registration). (1/5)
Mobility: no PDA app or mobile access
Misc: the Google ads is VERY badly located - in a place where one expects the menus. The navigation is not intuitive.
As one can see, gyminee is by far the best one in the list so far. I have several others to review: http://www.onlinefitnesslog.com/ http://www.gimme20.com/ http://www.fitday.com/ http://caloriecount.about.com/
There are also 2 sites that are Israel-centric (as opposed to all the others I've reviewed so far, that were all US-centric): http://www.miss-diet.com/ and http://dbalance.net/ . I guess there are others as well.
