Day 9 of P90X. So today I was suppose to do Plyometrics. But I couldn't wake up in time and I didn't feel like working out knowing that I will have martial arts training later on tonight. Also, I knew that I was going to be training for at least 3 hours and that's just too long for me to be "working out." Plus if I do Plyometrics for an hour in the morning, that's like 4 hours of physical activity in a day. I feel that is way too much. So I've decided to cut down on my workouts on Tuesdays and Thursdays since I'll be training martial arts on those days. I still like the plyometric workout and yoga x. So I think I'll continue doing Yoga X on Saturdays and skip the Kempo X. So I'm changing up the P90X workout a bit because I don't want to be a workout nerd all day. It will be way too taxing on my body.
Meals for today:
01:30 pm: Chicken breast, rice, salsa and veggies.
03:00 pm: Orange and grapes
04:30 pm: A bit of green drink
07:30 pm: A bit of green drink
09:00 pm: A bit of green drink
09:30 pm: Whey protein and creatine
10:15 pm: Come random Chinese food (probably not authorized)

Day 10 of P90X. I woke up on time today, but I didn't workout in the morning like I wanted to. Instead I was up with the market and prolonged my workout. However, eventually around noon I was able to workout and do my Shoulders and Arms workout. I also did Ab Ripper X, but I didn't finish it. I was just too tired and too out of focus. I did do half the Ab Ripper X workout, but I decided it wasn't worth it to push myself this hard when I don't really have the energy it takes to keep it up. So today, I quit and gave up on myself. Not a good feeling, but overall a great move on my part.
Meals for today:
01:30 pm: Whey protein and creatine.

Back on the road again. The last time I worked out was Tuesday in my martial arts class, but I find that working out there doesn't count. So I decided to pick up running again as my cardio for Tuesday and Thursday (since those are the days I have martial art classes). My running program is short. 20 minutes. I can do that. So I want that back plus it helps develop my cardio. I love it. I look forward in training that again.
Today however, I was weak. I did run but not the entire 20 minutes. It seems that my legs are giving up on me during the run and I started aching in places and I didn't want to push myself. Well, it's ok. I was out for 20 minutes and that's what matters. I will run again next Tuesday and slowing I'll get back to my routine. I'm very proud that I got up this morning and did my thang. Now I have to watch what I eat today.

Back on the road again. And again. So I joined a gym yesterday. I just found that I really needed to get out of the house to get me back into a regular workout routine. It was very hard for me to workout at home. Actually it's still very hard for me to even get up these days. Or get up at a reasonable time. But now I'm up and I'm working out again. After I get up I just need to get myself out of the house. Otherwise, I end up just doing nothing, no working out, no nothing and nothing gets accomplished. So I decided to join a gym and that will force to get up and out of the house so I can start my day with something positive.
I'm not sure how long this will last though. The first week will be full of energy. The 2nd week, it will start to get mandane. Then the challenge really starts. As long as I can get up and start moving, I think I can substain it. I just need to get moving. After that, I can start bring more productive.
I've decided to not continue with P90X. It's just too tough for me to do right now. Right now it's not a good time for me to tackle this program. I need to get back into shape physically and mentally before I can try this program again.

Day 2 BFL. So I'm on Day 2 of my Body-for-LIFE workout. It's still sort of a "get back into the groove" week, but I'm already commited in working out 6 days a week and getting back into a daily habit. These days I can do whatever I want. So the least I can do is workout. Now I just have to get up early.
Today's workout was ok. I didn't feel like working out this morning, but I got up and went to the gym anyways. After that, I did 20 minutes on the stationary bike and broke a small sweat. Then did some abs and played around on the stair master. It was enough for me. Tomorrow is legs day. Yippie!
