Anyone know an easy self test to figure out body fat percentage without the tool for a pinch test?

There are a couple calculations that use girth measurements. The Army has one that uses the waist, neck, and your height.

BF% = 86.01 x log( NAVEL - NECK ) - 70.041 x log(HEIGHT) + 36.76

If I remember correctly, inches are the units. If you fill in the three measurements, pasting the expression in Google will evaluate it.

it's short for a maths operation called a logarithm (opposite of an exponential). It'll be on your calculator...

Here is a calculator (http://forums.johnstonefitness.com/showpost.php?p=327273&postcount=1) that uses an Excel spreadsheet. You measure take your measurements and plug them into the cells. But if you don't know what a log is I not so sure you will know what an Excel spreadsheet is. But here it is anyway.
