View Full Version : Workouts avoiding leg injury?

I sustained a thigh contusion two weeks ago playing basketball. I still have limited range of motion on that leg and after seeking medical attention was told that it would take another 3-4 weeks to completely heal, since I also tore quad muscle.

Under these circumstances, should I continue to workout only upper body? And how should I do this?

I was doing Defranco's WSFSB so I could just do the two upper body days each week. Alternatively, should I train the uninjured leg (my left one) unilaterally? It is slightly weaker overall than my right (when it was healthy) but I do not want to create any weird inbalances.

Thanks for any help and input! Injuries are frustrating

Work out upper body. Let the leg recover. You will catch up fast enough when it heals. Think V shape for summer. work the back - big muscles. :bb:

Keep working upper body...

DO NOT train the one healthy leg...:nono:
