When designing a post-workout meal, most agree that after a weight-lifting workout, you should consume whey protein and simple carbs (sugars) immediately following the workout.

What about on cardio days? After an HIIT Cardio session, is a immediately-post-workout meal needed? If so, what should it contain?

Should weightlifting days contain more calories than cardio days?

I would generally do the same meals for weight training and HIIT. :) Proteins and either simple carbs or not so simple carbs. ;) That's a debate that I don't wanna start off. :lol:
