Hi Everyone,
I'm not trying to bulk or cut, I'm trying to lose a little BF while getting back some strength and size. I don't want to do the cycling of bulking and cutting, just trying to get back in shape. When I decide to cut, it will be after I reach my previous max strength.
It's not the best diet but right now I'm on a low cal/carb/fat diet that's high in protein. I'm trying to make the most of my carbs with fruits and vegs.
This is for entire day........
1.5 servings oatmeal
1 tbsp PB
3 scoops Whey Protein Powder
3 servings fruits
3 servings vegs
1 chix breast
2 servings FF cottage cheese
2 Light Yogurts
1-2 tbsp olive oil
1-2 tbsp heavy cream (sucker for coffee)
5'10", 172lbs, 42 y/o
Can anyone give a quick guesstimate on BF.
I figured I'm in the 2000 cal range with 39/34/27 macro split. (39 carbs / 34 protein / 27 fat).
What do you guys think for someone my size to be taking if 2000 cals/day? My job requires a limited amount of walking and I am currently only doing cardio 20 mins 3 times/week.
I'd like to stay in the same weight range but am looking to lose a little BF in the next month or two without losing too much strength.
Also, what would be a sufficient amount of calories to maintain my current weight or even lose weight?
The pics aren't the greatest, most of my BF stays around the midsection, very little around the pecs or thighs....poses are natural, I haven't worked out today yet and I'm not flexing in either pic.
Thanks for any input.
