Hello everyone,

I've been thinking about proper diet routines in non working-out days.. I always try to minimise the amount of intake calories plus increasing the protein part. If talking numbers, do you think it's proper to count calories needed as if the activity factor is equal to one?

Any opinion/advice out there?

Thanks,
Mo

Although I have "off" days from the gym from time to time, I never have "off" days from physical activity. I don't see a need to drop calories when I'm playing tennis, racquetball, or football with friends even if I didn't make it to the gym that day. If you actually manage to accomplish nothing or do nothing in a day, then just use your BMR for calories. Personally, however, use a gym-off day to do other physical things you enjoy; as summer approaches, you know, swimming, etc. Then you won't have to worry about what to do about calories and your metabolic rate will stay quite high.
