I have been thinking of a way to jolt the rest of my fat loss so I can get myself on a clean 1lb a week bulk. I wanna get the fun stuff started. So far I have been losing a steady 1-1.5lbs a week, eating just the right amount of cals to get into a deficit. Weights are going up a little each week. Mondays I do chest/arms, Tues HIIT Cardio, Wed Shoulders/Back, Thurs HIIT Cardio, Friday Legs/Abs. I have also been working in Deadlifts on my Shoulder/Back days on Wednesdays. Now to my question. Do you think it would be beneficial to add squats or lunges to my Monday routine since I do deads on Wednesday and squats on Fridays? Just another compound lift in the mix to shock the system? Or should I focus more on 3 total body workouts a week or just give up the cardio and lift 5 days a week to focus on more muscle groups in a weeks time?

Thoughts, ideas, rants???? :D

Squats....definitely.

You could swap your Mondays and Wednesdays to put an extra day of separation between squats and deads....
Deads on Monday and squats on Friday...
