I don't really read the paper. I actually found out from another site that is pretty much just a link archive updated daily with quite a few humorous/bizarre links. You were linked (to twowiresthin) around Jan. 11th or so as "Whoah, working out is actually good for you."

Hi all! I live in Oslo, but am from a city north of the Arctic Cricle. And Lindset, I have been to Alta ages ago, when I lived in Lakselv, probably before you were born.. Hehe! Very small world, and even smaller on the net.
In Oslo I shuffle loads of snow every day, it's been piling down! I use it for part of my cardio, since my doctor said yesterday that I still can't do any weight lifting. (which I knew already from my continuous neck pain.. :p )

I've been in Atlanta for two years, but was born in LA and lived in San Diego from when I was 3 till I moved here. I miss that weather. It's 46F right now, which isn't cold to a lot of people, but it is to a CA girl ;)

I'm in (VERY) cold Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

At least it cuts the smoke breaks to under a minute. Longer than that and you risk frostbite.

It got cold here the day before yesterday. I think it was like 68 F in the house when I woke up... I almost had to turn the heat on!

We're a bit of a sporting town, we just had the Australian open, soon the Grandprix and AFL and in 2006 Commonwealth Games. Enjoying summer at the moment so I'm using the warm weather too get a lot of cardio done.

You've got Västerås another 50 miles away (to the west). Västerås got this thing called "Power meet", with loads of cars and bikes for a week each July. Other than that, as far as I know, the only bikerplace in Uppsala is the local bikerclub called "Gjutjärn" (http://www.gjutjarnmc.com/).

If you find Vancouver, British Columbia on a map (go 200 miles north of Seattle), then drive east for about 20 minutes, you'll find Langley. Not much happens here, but we have great golf, gorgeous skiing and all the scenery you can handle within 10 minutes of here. We're proabaly the only area of Canada not freezing our butts off right now. It's about 10 celsius (50F) today, with a little sun. I may get in a round of golf this weekend.

Brooklyn, New York City is here. This winter is a killer: cold and snowy. Can't wait till spring. Don't really like summer here (too humid) but wouldn't mind summertime now.

San Antonio, TX, born and raised. Aside from the almost unbearable heat and humidity at times, it's a great place to live. Cheap cost of living, great food,gorgeous latin women and we throw a party for just about anything you can imagine. (For the record, I have never worn a cowboy hat and don't own a horse)

Moved from Michigan to Wisconsin, 1/2 between Milwaukee and Madison, 10 months ago. Also lived in Chicago and Indianapolis. Best place I've lived is Traverse City, Michigan. Gorgeous beaches, good restaurants, not a lot of traffic.

Wisconsin is seriously underrated, at least it was by me. There are lakes everywhere. And despite having almost twice the number of bars per capita as any other state, there are a lot of very active, very fit people.

The west coast of Michigan has some of the best beaches in the world (and the sand doesn't taste too bad either [Of course, I have only tasted it in the winter. I'm not going to make any claims for the summer sand]). And how can you not love the lake effect snow dumping twelve inches of snow overnight?

If you blink while driving down the highway, you might miss Morristown. Is it bad that the biggest news while I was living there was that a McDonald's was put in?

Kalamazoo, I've heard is nice. I'm not sure whether I'm just inside, or just outside of the lake effect snow area. But I'm looking forward to being there.

I am in Chicago...Western Suburbs area, about 30 minutes west of the city.

Born in southern IL, near SIU. moved to Chicago when I was ten. My wife and I have as of late discussed making a move away from Chi-town. We would love to be somewhere the weather is more consistent and it does not get so cold.

Chicago was rated the 5th fattest city by Men's Health magazine if any of you noticed that...well I just want to let you know I am doing my part to improve that statistic!! :D

I am in Lead, South Dakota - close to the Wyoming border in the beautiful Black Hills. Summer has been anywhere between 65 to 85 degrees (it can drop 20 degrees in 20 minutes when a rainstorm rolls by).
