Eliminating fatigue seems like removing the governor from a car engine. Looks like a performance boost until you blow the engine.

haha, I read this article too. If you want I could send you the journal article from the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. I would be glad to attempt to answer any questions you might have. I have been to two seminars on this ype of fatigue both by Dr. Hogan of San Diego State University.
BTW, I have read a number of articles by Dr. Nieman of Appalachian State (mentioned as a contirbuting author in the NYTimes article). He is one of the main people in the subject of physical activity effects on immunity.
