I have had a couple free sessions with a personal trainer, and she seems to be focusing on endurance/light weights/aerobic style weight lifting.

Sure, I'm 'feeling the burn' but after doing three sets of FORTY squats with a light weight, who wouldn't? My heart rate is shooting up HIIT style, so I figure I'm getting benefit from the workout, but I'm guessing I shouldn't count it as "a leg workout".

She seems big into fatigue and super setting and all that stuff that I know isn't popular here.

Now, keep in mind these are free -- should I keep them and just call it my 'cardio'?

Did you explain your goals to her? If it's not the kind of workout you want (you'll build endurance and burn some cals, but don't expect to "get big" training like this), tell her.

And unless you're doing farmer's walks or sledpull intervals for 20 minutes, this does not count as your cardio.

Yea this definitely sounds like a communication issue. Don't be afraid to tell her what you know! If she can take in your goals and help you out, great. But if she either scoffs at your own knowledge or tries to convince you otherwise then yes - she is a bad trainer. It's not just about knowing the lifts and some nutrition, personal training is about being one on one with people over an issue that they normally take very seriously. Adaptability and working to the needs of your client is a paramount skill.
