I've been a fan of caffeine for a while, usually through a few cups of coffee a day, and maybe the occasional energy drink (not anymore energy drinks though because of all the sugar and chemicals in them).
Anyway, the other day I picked up a bottle of 60 Guarana Seed Extract pills from Vitaminne Shoppe.
The active ingredients per pill are Guarana Seed Extract 200 mg (100 mg caffeine), and Guarana seed (100 miligram).
The ingredients of the pill itself are Vegetable Cellulose capsule, maltodextrin, magnesium stearate and silica.
I have been having one of these pills in the morning with breakfast instead of a cup of coffee, as I realized I like drinking water better with breakfast (since I'm usually eating relatively quickly). I've also been having one before workouts or cardio sometimes, using that as a source of caffeine instead of coffee.
In your guys opinions is there anything wrong with this? From reading a lot around the boards I've seen many, many members here drink coffee and I was wondering if this guarana extract is just as safe of a source of caffeine.
Thanks
