Daniel and I are very proud to announce our newest and most potent ergogenic supplement to date, RESULTS™. The product will be available for sale at www.atlargenutrition.com the evening of Wednesday February 6th, 2008.

I am going to diverge from our normal announcements and marketing to make a personal statement about this product. I have been using it for the better part of a month now. During this time I have decided to go on a cut and lose as much body fat as possible. To that end I have severely limited my caloric intake. In the past, to include preparing for bodybuilding shows, I have experienced pronounced loss of strength and muscle when attempting to get as lean as possible. My experience with this cut has been like nothing I have ever personally gone through or witnessed (with the caveat of individuals who were using anabolic steroids while dieting). I have lost a tremendous amount of body fat in a very short timeframe and have simultaneously added strength and lean muscle tissue! I have quite literally never looked better in my life and I am setting PRs in the gym every session!

Anyone who knows me online, or in person, knows that I do not lie or exaggerate about experiences. Quite honestly this cut has blown my mind and made me more excited than I have ever been about any product AtLarge has ever released. The ONLY thing I have done differently on this cut is to include RESULTS™. I attribute my extraordinary experience entirely to the product.

To be clear, RESULTS™ is NOT a fat burner. It is a product which promotes increased lean muscle mass and strength. The fact it has provided me the results I have experienced while cutting is to me an unbelievable testament to its efficacy.

I know there will be doubters who read this. I am writing it simply because I cannot think of another way to relay my absolute belief and enthusiasm about this product. Bottom line, there is a lot of hype out there on a lot of products, but what I am relaying to you is nothing more or less than what I have personally experienced. I am 100% confident that you will share my excitement about this product after using it.

RESULTS(TM):

Dextrose: 80g
Creapure® creatine monohydrate: 5g
Beta-Alanine: 3.5g
Beta-Hydroxy-Beta-Methylbutyrate (HMB): 3g

Very interested... I've done a good bit of research on them and have to admit I'm really looking forward to giving it a try.

Did you experience any of the "flushing" effect from the beta-alanine, or do you think the dose is low enough to avoid it? There's some contradictory results about the maximum dosage, but from what I've read you are just a bit low (.5g). That being said, I don't know how it interacts with HMB.

All-in-all, i'm sure its a quality product and I plan on trying it out.

Is this a pre- post- or intra-workout product?

If post-workout, were you mixing it with your nitrean? The dextrose would provide the insulin spike for sure....80g! :eek:

I'll be starting a bulk in a couple months...I might give it a whirl.:nod:

All of the ingredients build up in your system (so to speak), thus daily use is more important then timing. As you said, it can be used PWO for sure.

No, it is something that would be taken in addition to it. For instance, I am currently using it with Thermocin.

The flushing effect is no big deal. You just feel a little tingly and it only lasts for a few minutes...but it is harmless. I actually kinda like it.

What are the macro breakdowns?
Is the dextrose the only thing that has caloric relevance?

Is it:
Calories = 320 cals
Protein = 0g
Carbohydrates = 80g
Fat = 0g

Just curious....

More or less, yes. The primary source of calories is the dextrose.

I'm going to use this PWO in place of the following:

32g Whey isolate
1 C ground oats
8oz grape juice
5g creatine
5g l-glutamine

Chris, if I'm using this PWO should I take plain creatine on my non workout days? I don't want to skew the results, but I also want to get the most for my $50.

You really need to use the product daily to see its full benefits.

If not, and you are going to use it PWO only, I would definitely use creatine on your off days.

Wow, it's difficult for me to justify 80g of dextrose if I'm not working out. On non-workout days I have all my carbs in meal 1 or 2, would I use this as a replacement, then, for one of those meals? M2 would be just about 18 hours PWO.

I agree with NCNBilly... I'm worried that my body will simply sweep those 320 sugar calories into stored body fat If I'm not replacing energy stores at that time.

Chris, can you tell us more about your use of Results? Do you drink it post-workout? Do you use it as one of your daily meals? It says to 'consume one hour prior to workout' or 'in the morning' on your website. How did you decide on those times?

Yes, I'm paranoid about replacing any of the body fat that I busted my *ss to get rid of...

Yeah, several people have commented that they would be interested in the product, except for large amount of dextrose. Chris, have you guys thought of maybe having a version of the product without dextrose, or maybe a "light" version with say, 20-30 grams of dextrose?

Bulking for another 3 months using Starting Strength.

I used it today for the first time. Holy shit, you weren't kidding. I had the best workout I've had in weeks and felt like I could've pushed more. Again, after only one use. Can't wait to see what the coming weeks have in store.

Does this need to be cycled? If so, what's the plan?

No need to cycle, but I would suggest you go with it for 2-3 months and then just use creatine for another 30-60 days and back on the program again.

I think your macros are fine for a bulk. I don't worry so much about macros on a bulk, rather overall caloric intake. I suggest at least 25 cals per lb of body weight for most young men with decent metabolisms. Do that for 30-60 days and then back off.

Recommended Use: Mix in 10-12 oz. of water. Use daily. Consume one serving one hour prior to training. On non-training days, consume one serving in the morning.

In this thread people are talking about taking PWO.

Is it best to take it PRE-wo?

NCNBilly
February 13th, 2008, 10:58 AM
Based on what I've read, you'd get maximum effect from PRE-wo. Dextrose is usually only used as a post-wo, but this product isn't really like anything on the market right now.

For me, this replaces the carb meal before workout and my 1st breakfast shake. I just eat a little less carbs in M2 than I normally would.

It's from the beta alanine. Some people experience it. You usually feel it within 20-30 minutes of ingesting the supplement. I am not sure what the exact physiological mechanism is.

Lol, I'll be honest and say taste is not RESULTS' strong point, but I don't see the prune juice comparison.

Actually, initial flavoring feedback has actually surprised me! The ingredients simply make it impossible to have the product taste great, but check out this thread from another site:

I like the flavor. I have to admit, reading your initial description of the taste made me nervous, Chris. But i was pleasantly surprised once it arrived. It's not a very strong taste and reminds me of a melted "freez-pop" that I used to love as a kid. That or a Popsicle. Just started using it last Wednesday (4 days ago), and have had great workouts since. Can't say that this is because of RESULTS, might just be natural progression, placebo effect, etc... That being said, I'm excited about it. I have had no side effects such as tingling, increased heart rate or jitters. So far, I'm very pleased.

A little side note about ALN in general. I ordered RESULTS on a Friday night (and I do mean night, past 7 pm). It was shipped that day and arrived Wednesday in the am. Wow. Keep up the great work, Chris.:tu:

Time for me to chime in here.... I have been using Results for about a week. It's fantastic stuff (well... the taste is not quite fantastic). My workouts have been really really great - intensity levels like I am " bulking". I'm cutting and sometimes it's so hard to muster the intensity when you are calorie/carb deprived. I'm already lean and trying to lose just five more pounds of fat, which feels twice as hard ( I learned from the master, Swolecat, how not to lose lean mass when cutting), so any help I can get, I will take!

Don't fear the carb/dextrose in Results! Sometime we get too focused on the micro level of our diets. I simply replaced the apple and almonds I eat pre-workout. I still lost my pound last week.... What you add in calories, you lose with the intensity....

Do some research on the ingredients. ALN really got it right with this supplement. Plus, their service is top-notch.

I'll report back after one month.

So far, so good. This is about week 3 for me, and I'm still feeling pretty positive. I missed two workouts from being sick, and expected to drop a little weight. I kept taking Results daily, and not only did I now have to drop my weights, my bench, squat and deadlift ALL still increased and I could've probably done 10lbs more on deads. i haven't been able to add that much per workout in months...

I have my new lifting shoes coming today, and I am totally pumped for my workout - only 4 hours to wait!

Awesome!

I am telling you, this product is the real deal! All of our strength athletes really love it. No b.s., I just spoke with two of the strongest men on the planet today, Chuck Vogelpohl and Donnie Thompson and they both said they loved RESULTS and requested refills.

alright, so i got my huge shipment in from at large

did i mention i love these guys ?

yeah its pretty apparent

OBV i had to try the results... but it was late at5 night so i only mixed like 1/2 a scoop with like 2.5 oz of water, and mixed it up.
OMG it tastes just like orange tang!! hahahaha. i dont' mind drinking this stuff at all.

i'm excited to try this stuff out. I just don't know whether i'm going to start this week, or next.. considering this week is spring break i'll probably start next week, so i get a solid month in at my school gym with it.

omg nitrean is backkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk i love this stuff

dude i have no reason to think that results works but for the record yesterday i hit TWO pr's

bodyweight 162.8
415lb deadlift, said fuck it, tried a 425, moved it about 3 inches and then gave up didnt want to hurt myself
22 pullups on one hang. my previous best was 17.

I haven't hit 405 since christmas eve, and then i weighed 170 lbs.
the most pullups I did was when iw as 150something pounds, i'm 10 lbs heavier and killed it.

so whatever. maybe it's just luck. maybe it's in my head. who knwos. I also clean+jerked 185 like it was my job for like 8 reps yyesterday. a bunch of sets of 1's and 2's but still.

so who knows. today i'm doing chest. day 2 of the stuff.

it's very weird stuff chris. i find myself getting dizzy and winded way easier. but then again, i find i'm using higher weight than i have been normally. Also, I've found that if i rest for too long in the month or so that i've been using the results, i crash bigtime. also, the off switch comes on alot harder. i've almost passed out twice in the gym on leg day. I'm sweating alot more, and also going to the bathroom alot more. I have a dry mouth more often. my lips feel like i just kissed a girl that's wearing that special " plumping lip gloss" stuff, where your lips start stinging and tingling if i don't chase it with water or wipe my mouth after drinking it. Also If i cough really hard, I see stars.

On the good side. I don't think ive ever eaten this much sugar each day for the past two years as i have been while taking the results.. But there's been no adverse effects. If anything, my chest and shoulders have taken off in size and definition in the time i've been using this stuff.

I think this is a great supplement to maybe try if you've been training out for a good period of time, and have a very good strong base to go with.

I think I would see greater benefit If i was eating alot more, like all out bulking or whatever, but I've been maintaining etc, and it's enabled me to continue making PR's on deadlifts and pullups and bench, something that I have only been able to do when I'm eating almost all day.

I've got i dunno, maybe a week or two left of the stuff. If i get 450lb deadlift by that time, It will have increased 45lbs since starting results. If you remember, I failed on 405x1 roughly a week and a half before going on results, and then managed to his 425 about two weeks in.

Just got my shipment of Results in and had a serving (hope it's ok to have it in the evening this once ;) )

I don't know what the big deal about the flavor is. I got both the cherry and orange and opened up the orange first. It tasted just fine to me. I'm not gonna call it delicious, but it was in no way bad tasting at all.

That is EXACTLY how I would describe it.

Thanks for your order and comments!
