I am eating 6 times a day.
Meal 1
Kashi Heart to Heart Cereal with Light Soymilk
2 whole eggs with 2 servings of eggbeaters.
Meal 2
Protein drink (New Whey Liquid Protein 42 G)
1 oz almonds or walnuts
Meal 3
Chicken Breast
Brown Rice
or
Tuna Sandwich with reduced fat mayo on whole wheat multigrain bread
Meal 4
Tuna, chicken breast, or once in a while beef jerky (low fat high protein. I know the sodium is ridiculous, but I love it and is something that isn't chicken or tuna)
Fruit (apple or banana)
Meal 5
Protein shake - Isowhey protein. No fat, very low carbs
Lowfat yogurt
Meal 6
PWO
Some kind of meat. Usually chicken, turkey or red meat occassionally.
Vegetables - usually mixed.
Brown Rice or Whole Wheat Pasta
If I am still hungry before bed, I might have a half serving protein shake and a handful of sunflower seeds (shelled, raw) or edamame beans.
I have a pretty hectic work schedule so Meal # 2 and 4 have to be as quick and convenient as possible. Hence the liquid protein or shake I can mix and drink quickly. I would love to add more real food and get rid of 1 of those premixed protein supplements.
Any suggestions or recommended changes?
Thanks.
JB
