kinewone January 21st, 2008, 09:38 PM Hey All,
Been lurking around here for awhile and thought I might as well post up. I`ve been on SwoleCat`s SwoleGenix for 2 months now so here is my progress so far.
Before:
Height: 6'5" 1/2
Weight: 243.5 lbs
Bodyfat: 33%
Now (2 months in)
Height: 6'5" 1/2
Weight: 234.5

carguy January 21st, 2008, 11:16 PM Nice progress, man. Very noticeable. I'm a graduate of SGX University as well and was totally impressed. Keep up the good work.:tu:
Lo0p January 21st, 2008, 11:23 PM Good job man! Keep it up, it only gets better, and better, and better, and better from here. I know, I went to SGX U too! :D
Nowhereman January 21st, 2008, 11:59 PM SGX works. Have you gotten stronger as well? You'll be looking ripped in no time. Keep up the hard work.
Maya January 22nd, 2008, 12:04 AM Awesome progress! Looks like you've lost more then 10 lb of fat, so you gained muscle at the same time :tu:
camarogirl January 22nd, 2008, 12:19 AM Wow, you have changed a lot! Keep up the good work! :tucool:
kinewone January 22nd, 2008, 09:29 AM Thanks all. Much appreciated for the feedback!
@Carguy n Loop - I saw both of you on VX. Both of you have been very inspirational to me.
@ Maya - At my one month check-in, I was down 20lbs of fat and up 18.5 of LBM. Before, I didn't think it was possible to do that.
@Nowhereman - My strength has gone up incredibly. Working out was nothing new to me, but at the start of SGX, I had hit the worst slump of my life. Basically I didn't work out for close to a year, started Uni and nose-dived. Whenever I worked out before, legs wasn't really a priority. A set of bodyweight squats would kill me. While I'm still probably pretty weak comparing to others, for me, the strength gains are incredible.

Well keep it up. I'm sure those SGX squat days are kicking you in the arse.
KineticPoet January 22nd, 2008, 12:38 PM Good work so far man, keep it up and stick with the program...it can be hard, but the payoff is well worth it. I personally didn't find many strength gains on SGX, but thats not really what I was on the program for. I wanted to get ripped and I can say 100% at the end of SGX I never looked better in my life.
SwoleCat January 22nd, 2008, 09:11 PM You have done VERY WELL indeed!!! Thanks for posting your progress, as when you asked me if I thought what you have achieved thus far was worth posting about and if I felt you were "worthy", my answer was "most definitely indeed!!" Any positive progress is worth sharing so with your very impressive progress thus far it's "over-qualified" if anything! :tucool:
It's great to hear you have gained lean muscle mass and strength in addition to shedding the fat you have, and at the SAME TIME. Believe it or not, quite a few get to experience this occurrence while using SGX. It's actually easy to believe, being that former clients of mine (who all did VERY well and were a pleasure to assist and get to know as people) in this very thread alone who utilized SGX, gained some muscle/strength while cutting up aka leaning out.
As you know from the SGX program description, gaining lean mass is not the "goal" of SGX, preserving the lean mass one has already while dropping all bodyfat/adipose tissue are the goals. However, to those who are able to experience the gain of true lean muscle while dropping bodyfat at a very quick/effecient pace, it is a nice "side effect" indeed! :claphigh:
Thanks again, and keep kickin' butt! :tu:

docutech January 22nd, 2008, 09:30 PM WOW
That is one heck of a transformation in just 8 weeks! :claplow::claplow: Bravo!
Spartan12 January 23rd, 2008, 01:44 AM Looking good! :tu: Keep up the good work!
SwoleCat January 23rd, 2008, 01:10 PM BTW, I love the sound of "SwoleGenix University" or "SwoleGenix U".
I may have to work that in to my business somehow, in a similar manner to how I have my "Wall of Fame" taken from the "Hall of Fame" that most pro sports have.
The entire University gig/sound/idea has a nice ring to it. Thanks to carguy and lo0P for the mentioning of those two phrasings.
Happy "hump" day to everyone here! (Hump day, for those who don't know, is Wednesday being the middle of the usual work week, thus getting over the "hump" that is today)

pedurrod January 23rd, 2008, 02:18 PM Amazing transformation.
Only 8 weeks? Only possible if you work with SwoleCat.
NCNBilly February 1st, 2008, 08:20 AM Swole, maybe we can get diplomas when we finish our consultation. :)
The results you can achieve with SGX are truly quite amazing. My body has done a 100% turn around. I went from being more of a pear shape to a standard V - I just can't get over how different I look (and younger!).
Some of you know may know this story, and it is just one possible theory: My wife and I have been trying to have a baby for 4 years with no luck. After a bunch of tests, it was found my boys weren't swimming and I was given a < 3% of natural conception. My wife was in nursing school going for her RN, so we decided we'd keep up what we were doing and make an appointment at a fertility clinic after she graduated (Dec '07).
I started SGX at the end of July '07 and saw dramatic results in both loss of fat an gain of lean muscle tissue (lost nearly 30 scale pounds). We called the fertility doctor in the beginning of September to make a January appointment. They sent a bunch of paperwork, which I promptly forgot to fill out (and subsequently was yelled at numerous times). Nearly a month goes by and my wife notices that her "friend" hasn't visited in awhile... She woke my up after about 3 hours of sleep (I worked until 3AM that night) to show me the test...It was POSITIVE.
The only thing that changed was me... The theory is that my testosterone levels dramatically increased and my boys started to swim. :)
Thanks, Swole, for getting my wife pregnant!
(feel free to use that as your slogan too, ha ha ha)
kree-kree February 1st, 2008, 08:39 AM CONGRATULATIONS!!! HOW EXCITING!!!:claphigh: Keep us posted. Was JSF the first to be told?:claplow: Yeah to the swimming SPERM:tucool: He shoots...He scores!:D
NCNBilly February 1st, 2008, 01:13 PM I told Swole when it happened. I had intended to continue on to SUP2, but finances looming made me try bulking on my own (using Rippetoe). If it doesn't work out in the next few weeks, I'll go on SUP2. I'm making big strength gains, but not seeing the hypertrophy - and it's kinda eating at me that I know on SUP2 I'd have a rock solid plan.
SwoleCat February 2nd, 2008, 05:54 AM It was my pleasure getting your wife pregnant!!
Well, I mean.....uh.....helping your body accrue lean muscle tissue and raise your test levels via those infamous "20 rep squats" w/the pre-exhaust principle which release all types of hormones for growth, gh secretion, etc.
A new you and a new baby. Two for 1 ain't that shabby.

NCNBilly February 4th, 2008, 05:32 PM Yeah, I was thinking about you EVERY LEG DAY. I'm glad you weren't within earshot. ;)
SwoleCat February 5th, 2008, 09:11 PM Most of my SGX clients want to beat the (insert your favorite cuss word here) outta me after they experience what is to come days after, not on leg day itself. (They are wiped/tired/etc., after the workout, yes indeed, but what arrives 2-3 days later is the culprit that makes my clients want to fly out to where I live and wait by my P.O. Box w/others who are on SGX doing leg day, armed with anger, weapons, and the goal of placing me into wooden pajamas. (slang saying for a casket)
After the leg workout is completed they are fine the rest of the day soreness wise, but are indeed tired/drained/etc. Here's the typical breakdown that literally happens to 100% of my clients using SGX and completing the leg workout day:
Monday - no soreness present, but they can tell they had one hell of a hormone stimulating/releasing/circulating workout indeed.
Tuesday - soreness sets in overnight as they sleep. Being they don't move much, fibers are continuing to recover and repair, etc. Once they are out of bed and get to moving around, get blood flowing/circulating/etc., it's not "too" bad but there is definitely some legit marked soreness making some common/everyday movements more challenging than the norm, yes indeed. They think, "wow, I really tore some stuff up in there yesterday, I know these squats are going to help me keep my lean mass while I shed fat at a rapid rate, and I may even GAIN some lean mass as a lot of Swolecat's clients do".
Wednesday: Getting out of bed and standing up may take up to 15 minutes, hahaha! I am actually NOT joking at all, and God forbid they have stairs to go down/up. Using the restroom to "unload" by way of having to go #2 makes them want to just hold it for a few days. Lowering themselves onto the pot is a joke if there is no counter to help hold on to, as if there is not, half way down into the squat they literally just FALL onto the toilet seat. Then, when they attempt to get up and stand, boy, it rivals an Olympic event. :)
To help rid soreness faster:
Cardio as per the protocol helps, stretching while warm or before getting out of bed, Epsom/Epson salt (saw it spelled two ways) warm-hot baths, hot tubs, massages, and topical muscle soreness
relievers all help to various degrees.
However, as those who have done SGX and have seen the results, I'm confident in saying they all see the benefits of the leg work that is done.
Keep it up guys! :tucool:

NCNBilly February 6th, 2008, 08:20 AM ahhhh...memories. :)
SwoleCat February 12th, 2008, 03:31 PM U can always re-live those memories and begin the 20 reppers again!

kinewone April 2nd, 2008, 01:09 PM Hey All,
Well I'm still on SGX so I thought I'd bump this thread with a progress shot of how it's coming along so far. I'm 18 weeks in right now. First pic is a little reminder of how I used to be.
http://img395.imageshack.us/img395/7503/s3000159ev5.jpghttp://img353.imageshack.us/img353/2707/dscn0391us0.jpg
First pic: 243-5 lbs (heaviest I hit was 250 :()
Current: 214.5 lbs
Still got a month and a half of consultation, so I will post up again when I'm done. We'll see how much further I can go in that timeframe.
Cheers everyone!
Kiner
docutech April 2nd, 2008, 01:20 PM Holly COW!
That is amazing progress. I cannot wait to see the pictures from the completed program.
digitalnebula April 2nd, 2008, 01:47 PM Geeez!
Way to go! :tu:
Did SGX come with the chest tat?
kinewone April 4th, 2008, 01:24 PM Thanks for the comments, guys. It's really been an incredible journey so far.
Did SGX come with the chest tat?
Hah. Maybe Swole should run a package deal? Then again, looking at the off-topic discussion about tattoos, looks like the JSF community is a bit divided on the subject...
erik.whitman April 7th, 2008, 11:48 AM Holy Crap Batman, Are Those Abs I see? Great work!
