PImpLicious January 20th, 2008, 10:12 PM Hi All,
Can anyone give me any useful tips.....I am getting frustrated here..Its been a month i have been working out for..But i wanna know exactly what i have to do...I have been just lifting weights..but never did no squats, deadlifts, or any other exercise..
a4kenny January 20th, 2008, 11:06 PM bf% unknown. lots of ways to measure. tough to do just looking at a couple of pics.
read the stickies to learn how to eat and train to achieve your goals then come up with a plan then many here will be better able to help you tweak it.
but part of the solution, you mentioned in your post. squats, deads big lifts,...
but judging from your pics, i wouldn't worry about bf too much and look at doing a clean bulk and putting some mass on your frame.
Gorilla January 20th, 2008, 11:08 PM I wouldnt be worrying about losing fat right now...just focus on putting on more muscle. You are a skinny guy, so eat up and lift hard. Stickies are a good place to start.
PImpLicious January 21st, 2008, 04:06 AM Thanks you both!!!!..i will do that:)
pedurrod January 21st, 2008, 07:13 AM I agree. Your body fat % seems to be low, perhaps around 10%
I would do a slow bulk, so you don't put fat on but grow muscle slowly.
If you eat clean and do squats, deadlifts, chinups, military press, bench press, dips, rows... you'll grow a lot of muscle and will see results in a few months.

Doubleoqueso January 22nd, 2008, 08:25 AM My advice: Make a solid plan including what you lift and what you eat.
PImpLicious January 24th, 2008, 12:23 AM guys as i said before i have been working out from a month or so and i have seen some results....I can lift more....I drink milk rite after workout and a banana and other than that i have been eating chicken too....but I am not sure if i should be drinking protein shakes or not...i want natural gains....but since you guys are well experience give me some advise....Thanks Alot.....
pedurrod January 24th, 2008, 06:18 AM Protein shakes are natural. They are food.
Their advantage is they are pure protein and easy to take.
You can take them if you think that's going to help you. But if your diet is balanced, you don't really need them.
(Edit: or you can use them to balance your diet)
Eat clean, balance your proteins/carbs/fats, lift heavy, do some cardio and your body will improve dramatically.
One book that I think makes a lot of sense and can teach you how to eat you can find it here:

(Edit: But you can find all the information you need in the beginners section in this forum)
