So today is my first day on Keto and its treating me good, i dont get that hungry although i feel a LITTLE bit less energetic already, but i think my body is adapting fast. As of right now, 4:53 I have taken in 8.9 grams of carbs with the following food:

*I WASTED ONE GRAM OF CARBS IN TWO SPLENDA PACKETS* (damn it!)

9:00AM - 1 yolk, 4 egg whites with a slice of chopped up ham. 1.4 grams carbs
POW - Whey protein, 1 scoop, 23grams of protein. 2.5 grams carbs
coffe with splenda (i didnt know bout carbs in splenda)X2. 1gram carbs
12:00PM - 1oz pepper jack cheese. 1gram carbs
3:00PM - 6.5oz Salmon 11/3 cup of broccoli. 3grams carbs

Up to now, this equals 8.9grams, I have 11.1 to play around with for the rest of the day, the plan is:

5:30PM - Chicken Breast with broccoli topped with 1oz of pepperjack. 4grams of carbs
7:00PM - 1oz pepperjack. 1gram
9:00PM - 1oz pepperjack. 1gram

6 grams total

TODAYS TOTALS SHOULD EQUAL TO = 14.9 grams of carbs, in case i get hungry, i have 5 ounces of cheese i can mingle with! =]

I count carbs, and I wouldn't count any of those.

If I were limiting myself to 20g of carbs a day, I would eat all that stuff (twice) + more veggies, meat and fat, not count any of them as carbs and then eat 92g of cooked brown rice to get my 20g of carbs.

I'm not sure what a ketogenic diet is but it sounds kinda iffy :confused:

Are you making "meals" out of ~110 calories of cheese? You apparently enjoy your pepperjack, but c'mon. :)

Do you have the calorie totals from your sample? That looks like about 1300-1400 calories.

Are you doing a strict Atkins induction phase?

I mean, it looks like it, i added 2Tbsp of peanut butter and 3 slices of ham if that helps.. =P

First of all, a keto diet is not necessary. Secondly, if you are intent on doing a keto diet, than read the atkins books and do it properly. Third, that diet stinks. Sorry to be so blunt, but someone has to be, before you hurt yourself.
