yes it is. I heard that excessive consumption of fruit daily can have a bad effect on the body. 1 or 2 fruits per day is fine. I can eat bananas endless a bunch a day but i dont think its good for you.

Nah, it's good for you. But then what you are asking is in the terms of extreme. Eating endless amount of bananas a day? Yes, you may have potassium overload. Also, if you eat fruit in "endless" quantities, you can eat a caloric surplus, which can result in increased body fat. IMO, anything taken to the extreme can be bad, as given in your example of endless bananas... Don't be afraid to eat plenty of fruit, but also don't take it to an extreme level where you are constantly thinking of eating fruit.

If you are an overweight individual or attempting to cut down fat levels, then there may be some benefit to limiting and timing your consumption of fruit. Otherwise, fruit is very healthy for you. You can overdo anything really, but the only side effect I can see from too many bananas is a nice trip to the washroom.

If you continuously eat lots of fresh fruits and veggies and eliminate processed foods, your body will adapt happily. For an unhealthy individual, a healthy amount of fiber causes intestinal distress, as their bodies are struggling by on a poor diet. For a healthy person, a healthy amount of fiber just keeps them healthy :)

I eat enough fiber to cause a buttsplosion in everyone else I know. Buttsplosivity from fiber is your body using the fiber to clear out the accumulated toxins from junk food in your intestines. Once the junk has been cleared out, all systems operate smoothly, and your body will have ways of encouraging you to continue a healthy lifestyle.
