View Full Version : Here's me - Pre SGX - OMG :(
Sebastiaan January 8th, 2008, 07:14 AM OK,
I've been off the wagon for the last year and boy it hasn't been kind!
Just sent Swolecat some $$$ and will be embarking on SGX soon, so thought I'd post my horrible disgusting BEFORE pics.
I tell you...it's quite confronting when you take pictures and then view them on the screen.......eeek!
I've also included one photo of me when I WAS alot leaner after cutting on my own from 110kgs and looking much worse than I do now! (although not much!)
Here are the pics.....please feel free to comment on your best guess at BF% or any other things.
I included a pic of my quads...they are too big i reckon....don't know why..must be genetic....these are one bodypart i'd like my upperbody to match :)
Stats:
Male
33 years old
92kg
cheers
Gorilla January 8th, 2008, 10:30 AM Congrats for taking the leap toward making a change for the better. Stop calling yourself disgusting, this should not be about beating yourself up. Its about wanting to live a healthier life and reaching your full potential. Best of luck!
tashimarie January 8th, 2008, 01:11 PM good luck!!
leftyx January 8th, 2008, 06:31 PM Swolecat will have you back in business. Just follow the protocol and reap the rewards.
a4kenny January 8th, 2008, 06:44 PM I'm starting SGX in the coming days also and am quite excited about it. I've made some progress but I really want to kick things in high gea now. Looks like we'll be starting at around the same time. good luck to ya !
Gorilla January 8th, 2008, 08:19 PM Will be interesting to see how it goes.
Sebastiaan January 29th, 2008, 09:27 AM OK..so i'm 2 weeks into SGX now.
Have lost about 3kgs, but i think put on some muscle too :-)
Heres the progress pics.....long way to go...but definite progress in only 2 weeks.
docutech January 29th, 2008, 09:30 AM I see progress!:tu:
SwoleCat will have you back in business for the summer for sure!
wh0rume January 29th, 2008, 10:37 AM In the pictures you actually look worse in the 'after' due to the change in lighting.
Always try to capture the same lighting everytime.

You kidding?
He looks MUCH better in the after. His belly looks a lot flatter in the side shot, and in the front shot you can see how much fat he has lost off of his sides revealing a much more defined shape (instead of the classic fat guy straight sides shape).
Good job so far, your gonna be ripped by summer!
mustbesix January 29th, 2008, 10:24 PM Belly is definitely flatter already. Well done so far.
Tovsen January 29th, 2008, 10:56 PM OK,

Unless you want to get into a certain weight class for competitions your quads can never be too big!
I admit finding nice jeans can be a bit of a pain, but still.
Sebastiaan January 29th, 2008, 11:31 PM Thanks all!
Yeah, i will try to be more consistent with lighting etc...but have tried to get as close as possible.
Yeah, with my quads...it is mainly the jeans (and my business suits) that is the issue! damnit, when i can fit my waist into a cool pair of 32 - 34" jeans and they don't fit because of my quads! Thats annoying! haha
oh well. Need to focus on chest, thats my weakest area!
See you all in another 2 weeks for the next update! :-)
cisco January 30th, 2008, 01:42 AM definately looks better in the bottom pictures, even with the light difference.. Less body fat on the stomach..
Well Done!!
SwoleCat February 12th, 2008, 05:50 PM Great to see your thread here!
I just reviewed your e-mail check in, and all I can say is WOW!
You really have done some kick (__!__) work in 14 days time.
However, if you are stoked now, the BEST is still yet to come, and LOTS of it!

Reno February 14th, 2008, 10:52 PM Good luck with it champ.
I've just started up again doing SGX, i actually started it last year but fell terribly i'll and had to take some significant time off. In the short time before i fell ill i'd made solid progress. Like the big guy said. The best is yet to come :tu:
Good to see another Melbourne guy doing it!
