Been looking at this site for quite some time, and have decided I need to do something to keep me motivated on my diet. I used to be 6'0 182 with about 9% body fat, and now I'm 6'0 204 and no telling what my body fat is now. This is the worst I have looked in the 26 years of my life and have set a goal to get back to what I used to be.

Current picture, taken today.

Sorry if you just puked!! As far as diet goes, I plan on keeping a rather simple schedule. This will obviously vary, but am looking to keep it similar to this.

Meal 1- Carnation instant breakfast with 8oz skim milk
Snack/Meal 2- Banana or apple
Snack/Meal 3- 50 g protein isopure low carb shake w/ 8oz skim
This will be my work out time- 45-hour of lifting 20 minutes of cardio
Meal 4- 8 oz chicken breast with green beans
Snack/Meal 5- Banana or apple
Meal 6- 50 g protein isopure low carb shake w/ 8oz skim milk w/ some sort of plain meat (turkey breast, ham, chicken)

Please feel free to fill me in on any tips or suggestions.

Here is a previous picture of me when I was actually in shape. This is what I will be striving for once again. Its about that time I got back into shape! If there is a way to view the pictures on the message board without having to click them, please let me know.

You can tell you have a great physique underneath the fat you are trying to loose, even without looking at the "before" picture you posted from several years ago.

I would recommend working some more healthy fats into your meals and make sure that your calories are not TOO low. Almonds or natural peanut butter in moderation are easy additions that will help curb your cravings and give you the healthy fat that your body actually needs to burn off the bad fat you want to get rid of. If it were me I would have them with or for your afternoon snack as I tend to start having cravings set in about 4 in the afternoon until 9 or 10 at night...having some healthy fats later in the day helps curb that...at least for me.

So are you a Cubs fan from Chicago? That would give us something in common.

Well, from the physiques that seem to capture the most TV camera attention, I'm not sure this is a good idea.

j/k, I know what you mean. :)

I agree with Ryanator. You need to look at working some healthy fat sources in there.
