I've been away for awhile. Not away from training, but I was hanging out on another board, and well, grew bored. I decided to come back to JSF because this is where it began for me.

Currently I'm at the tail end of a 12-week training session, which basically consists of weights MWF and cardio TThS. I will be taking the first week of the year off, and coming back with a whole new program for the first quarter of '08. I have it all laid out, and will outline it in another post.

I have not weighed or measured myself in a few months, but will at the first of the year.

Yesterday was a leg day. My knees were a little soar, so I lowered the weights a bit and slowed down and concentrated on the contraction. I love to do this, and feel that I have a better workout when I do this.

Today was a cardio day. I didn't feel like jumping on the treadmill this AM, as the kids were sleeping in on their first day of the Christmas break. Instead I popped in my wife's Taebo dvd, and followed along. It didn't get my HR up where I like it, but it was still a good workout.

Yeah, last day of work until 2008!:D

Today was back/biceps:
BO BB Row 3x8
Stiff Leg Deadlift 3x8
Lat Pull Down 3x8
Hammer Curl 3x8
Reverse BB Curl 3x8
Concentration Curl 3x8

That puts my Presidential Challenge points at 70605, or 88% to Gold.
