I will post this on my fridge to help me remember why I am doing what I am doing. One of these days I will reach my goal! :bb::eat:

Or was it something like this guy:Penguin guy is smoother. He doesn't look as severely sculpted, and looks like he knows how to chill out.

He looks like a guy with a happy wife and kids, who takes the family skating or skiing on the weekends, while underwear guy is too busy at the gym to have much of a family life. :(

I'm pretty sure it's possible to be severely scuplted and to have a great family life at the same time. :)

Nah, more like penguin guy likes to eat his cake and donuts, while underwear guy has his chicken, brown rice and broccoli. Underwear guy doesn't look like any less of a family man, just looks like he has more determination.

Yeah, 10 years from now penguin guy is going to have a big gut and moobs. Underwear guy will look pretty much the same except with crows feet starting.

Hey sevenatenine, congrats on the weight-loss. I just went back and caught up on your early posts. Man, you're down like 90 pounds. Great work.:tu:

If I were motivated by pictures, I'd accumulate pictures of women.

I'm pretty sure it's possible to be severely scuplted and to have a great family life at the same time. :) Oh definitely, it's possible. :tu: I think what I meant is similar to what sevenatenine said. The pyjama model strikes me as someone who doesn't make fitness a big priority above other aspects of his life. I get the feeling that he spends a little less time in the gym and a little more time relaxing and eating delicious foods than the underwear model. I associate a more friendly, fun personality with that, which actually makes the look of that physique more appealing to me. Photos of amateur athletes or some fitness models are more motivational for me than photos of competitive bodybuilders. That could be the case for a lot of other people too. This pic shows a woman with a fairly average physique, but I ripped it out of a magazine and kept it as motivation because it's a really good representation of what "good health" looks like to me:

 you guys!

Well I would be perfectly happy with the body in the pic I posted no matter how I get there. The second picture is a bit much for me and I can't see myself looking like that in the long run. I will be posting some progress photos of myself January 1st to give you all an idea of "what's what" and hopefully get some pointers :bb:

Just as long as you make a part of your goal to have bigger legs than him because his are very small.

Good luck!

 I think his legs look fine. Looks like a great goal to me, and a nice motivational pic. We are all working towards different things.

Thanks, I've switched directions a bit and am shooting for 185 by the end of feb. My short term goal is to look like a certain 54 year old man I know ;) (fantastic job BTW).

I'd accumulate pictures of women.
You don't?

I have a collection of pictures of women I aspire to sleep with in my dreams (because I'm happily girlfriended and don't see it ending, but dreams are free game), and a (MUCH smaller) collection of motivational pictures of men I would like to look like, or partially.

Apparently looking at motivational pictures of men makes you gay because I get this google add for "real jock, the gay website for real jocks" on JSF ALL the time. Thanks John:rolleyes:.

Hey, seven. Thanks. Why don't you come join the challenge? I think a few of us will be bulking on 'till the end of Feb. (And considering your age, I hope you can end up looking a lot better than me.)
