Where to start? I first stumbled on JSF about 6 months ago. About that time I started getting serious about my diet and working out. I immediately went on a four month cut where I lost around 25 lbs and 6+% of bodyfat.
After taking a few weeks off to figure out my next step I have decided to restart my cut with renewed intensity. My plan is to take the next 16 weeks to reach my goal of 170 lbs (from today that would be March 29, 2008). Currently, I weigh 192 lbs. I am a little over 6 feet tall. My problem is that I am around 23-25% bodyfat. I will post the details of my plan and pictures soon.
I need to lose fat, gain muscle and get stronger. That is where this journal comes in. I hope to use this as a means to keep track of my success and failures. I will use Fitday to track my calories and this journal to track my exercise and diligence.
As with most things in my life, I feel I know enough to be successful. I have had countless opportunities to make good decisions in the past, both in terms of diet and exercise. However, despite the opportunities and knowledge, I have failed to act.
I am a creature of inertia. Right now I am at rest. Today, I am springing into motion.
Thanks for reading.
