For Christmas, I am thinking of buying my wife an inversion table from Giaim. She does yoga two to three times a week and takes karate lessons twice a week. Sounds like it would be a great way to stretch, improve circulation and just plain relax. Has anybody out there used one? Positive, negative experiences?
thanks,
Jay.

We have a wooden padded version of this style.
I like it to stretch out in the morning & after working out.
It doesnt invert you totally but it is good for a passive stretch & blood will run to your head so be careful getting back up *

Just remembered you were looking & I saw this one in a Brookstone catalog they shipped to my house.

It looks really heavy duty & good look too. (+ only $249)

Someone recommened for me to buy one for my back. I asked my physio therapist and he said it wouldn't be a bad idea, but I could go without one.
It's hard to find a good article about them. Most I've found are written by a company selling them.
I've seen them priced from $300 to $1500. I'm hoping to find a used one somewhere.

My chiropractor told me that if I felt it helped, then continue to use it. But he wouldn't take a stand on either recommending one or not. Personally, I love having mine around, but I don't use it anywhere near as much as I used too.

I wish I could rent one for a month and see if it helps. I'd hate to drop the money on one and have it not get used. If I noticed no difference, I wouldn't use it.
