View Full Version : The Apocolypse is UPON US! JKulp42757 November 3rd, 2007, 12:44 AM http://blogs.wsj.com/health/2007/10/30/six-pack-surgery-from-puffy-to-buff/ HevyMetal November 3rd, 2007, 12:50 AM You mean they're bringing back "The Jerry Springer Show"?:eek::eek::scared::scared: Doubleoqueso November 3rd, 2007, 01:21 AM Oh, man ~ that "6 pack" looks ridiculous on that guy. That after picture is an example of why it's a good thing you CANT spot reduce fat! dpark November 3rd, 2007, 01:25 AM http://blogs.wsj.com/health/2007/10/30/six-pack-surgery-from-puffy-to-buff/ I've read about this before, and it made me wonder what happens if you actually manage to lose some fat later (not that I expect the people who go through this to actually invest the effort into developing a 6-pack naturally). Wouldn't you end up with a 6-pack "ghost" on top of your natural 6-pack? Ah, the perils of taking the easy (read: stupid and dangerous) route. Ectomorphic November 3rd, 2007, 03:33 AM Lame. Lazy. But at least they realize that it's more a matter of a layer of fat that needs to be removed, rather than thousands of crunches and situps. That's something, I guess? dpark November 3rd, 2007, 03:58 AM Lame. Lazy. But at least they realize that it's more a matter of a layer of fat that needs to be removed, rather than thousands of crunches and situps. That's something, I guess? Except they aren't removing the layer of fat. They're actually carving the layer of fat. The six-pack on that guy has nothing to do with his real abs. They just cut something into the fat that looks like abs. Those abs are about as real as David's marble abs (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_%28Michelangelo%29). Ectomorphic November 3rd, 2007, 05:10 AM Those abs are about as real as David's marble abs (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_%28Michelangelo%29). BF% estimate! :D Buttersweet November 3rd, 2007, 06:00 AM you guys are so old fashioned :lol::lol::lol: imagine touching that? http://www.cosgan.de/images/smilie/frech/m050.gif http://www.cosgan.de/images/smilie/ekelig/g010.gif Croz November 3rd, 2007, 10:17 AM That looks as out of place on that guy as those synthol arms do on others. Maybe I can get a plastic surgeon to systematically remove the 45 pounds of fat I'm still trying to lose! Or maybe they could just etch muscles into the fat I have now! All that pain and all that recovery time, and possible side effects. Maybe he could just eat less and work out more? dpark November 3rd, 2007, 02:48 PM All that pain and all that recovery time, and possible side effects. Maybe he could just eat less and work out more? In the time it took him to fully recover, he probably could have cut enough to have a six-pack naturally (or pretty close), and it wouldn't look so out of place. |
