I've got my diet under good control and I have been using the gym every day to do cardio and basic weightlifting just to get my muscles and mind into the habit. NOW comes the real part... I am trying to find a good routine for weightlifting and I am torn between full body workouts (1-2 sets per body part) or split days (Monday chest/biceps Tuesday quads calves, wednesday back, shoulders etc). What do you think is the most efficient? Any other suggestions?

For the last couple of years I've become more and more a fan of the upper/lower split. 4 days training per week, 2 days devoted to the lower body and 2 days devoted to the upper body.
But really there is a wide variety of effective routines out there. Pick one and get busy. :)

Yeah....actually after my first full body work out yesterday I woke up this morning actually sore! So apparently that works for me for now but I think I am going to end up going split days when my initial fat loss is done.
