If you want to make your workout substantially more difficult to the point of misery, add a tabata workout to the end of your routine.

Use dumbbell thrusters as described here (http://www.t-nation.com/findArticle.do?article=04-046-training).

I don't even use dumbbells. Just empty hands. And within two minutes I'm sucking wind and my heart rate is through the roof.

I am sure many of you know about this but for those who don't.. try it. It sucks. And your legs will hurt like a sonofabitch the next day.

That's a really interesting article. I'm going to try the thrusters as soon as I get home today. Being a user of the method, have you noticed enhanced results like the author talks about?

I only did it for the third time last night.. but already I can do more than I could the first time.. that's about it so far.. If it produces consistent fat loss that's all I care about right now :)
