Do most of you do trap work on shoulder days or back days?

I tend to do them on shoulder days with upright rows and shrugs.

Looking to make them pop and wondered when you have found to best the most effective.

Plus, any other exercises for them?

I often end up doing trap work both on upper days (rowing) and lower days (deadlifting). So three times a week.

I don't do trap isolation because bent over barbell rows, deadlifts, and chinups seem to be enough. So, just like Zen, I do them on days when I do upper body pulling or deadlifting. Twice a week for me.
