Just wondering how he manages to lift without the screaming guy or the death metal background music?

562 pounds -- Wow, that is just insane. When I start to feel like I am getting pretty strong, all I have to do is see a vid like this to realize that I'm not even close to being strong. That is damn impressive!
In answer to your question though: The guy is in a gym somewhere getting a good back workout by helping a guy bench 50 pounds more than he should be doing.

Vasili Alexeyev had his own methods :scared:
When I'm too calm before a competition, I rouse myself with hot coffee. The pulse must be beating -- no less than 18 times in ten seconds ... (http://www.elitefts.com/documents/science_of_winning.htm)
As for the "all you" guy, he seems to have visited my gym recently. I've spotted one guy at my gym three times as he's attempted to bench 275 for a double. Every single time he's gotten the first rep and then failed the second at the very bottom. Now when I spot, I stand back with my hands nowhere near the bar and only move if it starts going the wrong way. But when he asked "all you" guy for a spot, he's suddenly repping that 275.

Yeah you are supposed to be out of the field of vision of the lifter.
