That's my goal. Vin Diesel f 'in rocks. No, I'm not gay, I just want his physique.

That said, it will probably be very hard for me since I am overweight right now. I'm 19, 5'9", 215 lbs, living in my own apartment. The good things I have going are a large frame and large shoulders, and I think I am a decent looking guy. :dreamy:

It's somewhat hard for me to stick to a diet/workout routine. I think I have just been hitting it too hard when I start out instead of gradually easing into one. I usually start out with 5 miles of running/walking a day/lifting every other and a strict diet, but near the 1-2 weeks mark (even though I will lose 8-15 lbs) I always seem to lose my way and slide back into the junk food.

I go to college on M/W/F and no job currently, so I really have no reason as to why I shouldn't be on a diet/workout.

There are four main reasons that have prompted my want for this change:

1 - To live an all around more healthy lifestyle. :tu:

2 - I want to look in the mirror and see a beast staring back at me, ready to tackle the world or anything it throws at me. :bb:

3 - I want to look good for the ladies. It's been a while since I have had a g/f, and am starting to get pretty lonely.

4 - I'm the singer (lead vocals) in a rock band (not famous yet!) and I want to look good while on stage and performing. :tucool:

Those things can keep me focused, but it's hard without a partner or motivation from others. My parents motivate me and my Mother works out a lot, but usually at odd times of the day.

A lot of people I come across *think* I work out because of my frame, but once the shirt comes off, that's not the case. :nono:

I'll try to keep you guys posted on how things come along and what I have done each day and whatnot. Hopefully I can give you a little insight into my life and activities, and gain some moral support all around. :)

As you may or may not have realized by now, you could not have come to a more supportive and informative cyber community. No matter what your goals you'll find people willing to volunteer their time and wealth of knowledge.

Read the stickies and ask questions. I also suggest you at least skim some of the journals so that you get an idea of the challenges that most members confront, how most of us have some ebb and flow with our individual commitments, and also how some JSF'ers have made truly amazing transformations.

Good luck!
