Few questions based on your experience :
1. which one is more accurate ? the Omron or the AccuMeasure/FatTrack calipers?
2. is it considerable harder to measure yourself with the above calipers
3. what would you recommend me to buy?

Omrons and other eletrical impedience devices are pretty bad.
Skin fold calipers are only as accurate as the skill of the tester, and can miss visceral fat because it isn't right below the skin.
But of the two, I'd probably us calipers.

agree with Mannish.....i have used the omron type machines and the results are inconsistant and not very acurate.

I have an Omron.
It works. It's not accurate, but it's consistent so you can certainly use it to guage whether or not you're moving in the right direction with your fat loss.
I do my measurements first thing after waking up after taking a pee. No drinking water, no getting wet.. nothing.
Readings are consistent. I used to read around 16 to 17 % body fat when my actual BF was about 18%.
Now I read sub 10% on the Omron when my BF is probably under 12%.

Yeah...I believe they are very consistent used as above.....Omron always scores within a .1 percent of my Tanita BIA scale as well.
If a person happens to be over 25% bf calipers even with a trained person doing the measurement is likely to be very inconsistent.
(There will be too much fat to pull away from the muscle which makes it very difficult)
Clarence Bass (http://www.cbass.com) typically lives at 4.5% bf & he swears by the new Tanita that accounts for body water & he liked the more basic Tanitas before that. He has done most kinds of bodyfat measurement so he comes from experience.
