Hi,

My girlfriend is working in a supplements seller and brought back these products for free. I'd like to check with all of you if I can take them or not !! :)

I have the following supplements:

ZAM Ultra Force from Scientec Nutrition
That one seems OK to me, it's for better recovery and tonus. I think I can have it.

Glucosamine & Chondroitine from Scientec Nutrition
That one is for joints protection, I guess I can take it also.

Hydroxyblast from Science Nutrion
That one seems more "potentially harmful" to me... it's a fat burner, and I'm wondering if it's worth taking it ? Might I experience any drawbacks ?

Trimbody Gel from Science Nutrition
That's a Gel for muscle definition. Not sure it's efficient, not sure I need it, considering my BF%, I guess it's more for a "finish touch" :)

Elite Fitness Protein from Scientec nutrition
That's a protein, but it seems to have quite a lot of Cabs (1 carb for 2 proteins). Is it more a weight gain protein ?

More about me:
I'm cutting right now, I lost 12K in 5 months, I'd like to loose 8 more.
I'm 187cm tall. I eat around 2500cal/day, split on 6 meals, somthing like 50-30-20.
Lifting 3 times a week, and 1 or 2 cardio sessions a week.
My weight loss is slower than in the beginning but still significant. I'm not specially seeking for faster results.
I'm also gaining significant strength (in 5 months, I increased my bench press from 70 to 110K).

Considering all this information, please give me your comments ;)

Regards
Matthieu

Would you have sought out any of these products on your own? I wouldn't be putting anything in my body just because it was free.

Do you need a recovery aid?

Do you have joint problems?

Do you have a need in your diet that can be filled by the nutritional value of the protein supplement?

I take whey protein daily.
I just wanted to know if this " Elite Fitness Protein" wouldn't countercare my diet, as it's full of carbs.

No, I wouldn't have bought these products by myself, but mainly because my knowledge is poor, and they are quite expensive.

I don't have joints problems, but I think it could be useful to prevent have some?
I don't specially need a recovery aid, but if it can give me more tonus and is harmless, why not ?? It's just a 1 month treatment.

Well, you suggest me not to take these supplements, I take your advice into account.

Thanks !
Matthieu

glucosamine has worked wonders for me. i went from barely being able to walk to being able to run 10k's without a problem, and doing one legged pistol squats holding 60 pounds of additional weight.

i'd been getting small gains exercising, but once i started taking glucosamine my recovery and durability in my left knee went through the roof.

my knee was hit by a sledgehammer when i was younger. (over a girl incident, hahaha)

Great!

In fact, I poste a while ago about a tendinitis in the foot.
After some exams I've been told that my joints are damaged in my foot.
I didn't use the leg press for a while, I didn't run, I've seen an osteopath that did a marvelous job, today I'm 100% healed (I don't feel any pain), but I'm scared of running, and although I do some leg pressa again, I put a very little weight.
Sound like the Glucosamine is pretty much a good supplement to take then !
