I've officially run out of my (not that good) Holland and Barrett Body Fortress Whey Protein (strawberry). I'd like to try a new brand this time around... anyone know where to buy cheap whey in the UK?

I just get the 5lb refill bag of unflavoured stiff, use an old tub.

They make the stuff to order so sometimes takes a couple of days to ship. Good company tho.

What do you do for flavor with the plain whey?

MyProtein is excellent. I get the MP Max 5lb tub of chocolate, which tastes awesome without milk :) Give them a try, seriously. Shipping takes no time at all. A mate of mine ordered some stuff Thursday and it came Friday the same week :drool:

USN 100% Whey is my fav! It's a good low carb whey, and tastes great. In fact I'm having peanut butter and some choc USN now :eat:

The stuff from myprotein is good, I prefer the whey isolate as their other stuff gives me ... ahem ... Gi 'discomfort' :cry:

I can't recommend highly enough the following companies (where you can buy 'Pure Whey' by Prolab, if you're interested, or a huge range of other supplements).

Both deliver in 1-2 days, usually next day delivery for no extra fee. Never had any problems.

Also, seeing as you live in London, you could go to Charing Cross tube station, where there's a shop (I think called something like Powerhouse - not sure though). They sell most of the mainstream protein shakes, bars, all sorts of other supplements, gym equipment etc. It's in the underground part of the station.

I tend to just buy unflavoured 80% Whey Protein Concentrate from either of the following websites.

I prefer unfavoured whey as i find the commercial flavoured wheys too sweet. I just mix 35g with 700ml of water - and drink it down. Adding a bannana, coffee, or cocoa powder makes it taste nicer, but to be honest i don't find the taste of unflavoured whey that unpleasant.
