Hey all,

I am a picky eater and hate the taste of vegetables, although I am trying to eat spinach.

How nutritious is v8, esp. fusion which mixes vegetables and fruit. Is it the equivalent of eating those same fruits and vegetables or is some nutrition lost where it is only the juice?

Thx... Im trying to avoid eating veggies as much as possible but still need to start eating better to bulk up.

Well, you are getting some vitamins and minerals, but the vegetable only V8 is better than the V8 w/ fruit juice (empty sugars). Of course, real veggies are better than V8, because you're getting the fiber along with the vitamins & minerals, which is good for you and fills you up so you're likely to eat more moderately.

Having said that, V8 is loaded with sodium, so when I have it on occasion, I have the low-sodium version.

I suppose V8 is better than no vegetables at all, but you really should experiment and try to find something you like. There are so many vegetables and so many ways of cooking them. You'd be surprised...you may find something you like.
