My goal is to get to 98lbs (two words - very short), whilst keeping the majority of my muscle, be eating healthy and normally and when i get to a place i am happy with (physic wise) maintain it. can't be that hard, right?

right now (food wise) i am aiming for
breakfast - 300cal
snack - 100cal
lunch - 400cal
snack - 100cal
dinner - 400cal
= 1300
ideally i would like to be losing 1lb of fat per week. this seems reasonable and acheiveable.
execrise wise, i plan on lifting 3 times a week. just have to stop procastinating and do just it

That's good progress, you're right in the 1-2 lb range and since you want to preserve muscle the 1lb / week is best imo.

today i ate 2000cal and did very little exercise. im not happy with the foods im choosing to eat nor the amount of activity i am doing. I want to make lifestyle choices so that i can maintain a physic i want and stop the 'yoyo' cycle i have been caught up in for the past few years. Somethings i want to start with;

- eating - 1400cal per day (no more, and not to go under 1000cal either)

CARBS;
kale, swiss chard, broccoli, artichokes, string beans, asparagus, spinach, cabbage, lettuce, eggplant, mushrooms, peppers, onions, blueberries, strawberries, carrots, butternut squash, sweet potato, corn, rye, oats.

PROTEIN;
eggs, yoghurt, tofu, fish, chicken, cheese

FAT;
??? suggestions would be great!

-exercise -

MON - rest
TUE - lift (full body)
WED - run (30min)
THURS - lift (full body)
FRI - run (30min)
SAT - rest
SUN - run (30min)

i want to make these things consistant and long term, none of this off and on crap.
here we go!

2000cal today... no exercise :( not happy with myself about today. tomorrow will be better. i have something at night that requires eating crap, so i will eat 700cal during the day, which will give me 1000cal to use during the evening (sociel gathering). but i dont want to go over 1700... that would be stupid.
