Hi
regarding bench pressing .ive had lot of different
opinions about holding the bar...what is the best way...ie are u supposed to support it at the base of your hands or further up nearer your fingers?
also are the wrists supposed to be kept totally straight throughout the
movement?

I've used numerous techniques before, most of them which weren't correct. What I do now, which is the most comfortable for me and possibly others is to hold the bar so your wrists support it (they sould be straight). If you lean towards your fingers, you might lose your grip and let go of the bar.
