I'm not new here, but I've been away for so long that I thought I would post up another introductions. In fact, I was here around the time that this forum started (look at my stats). Then I fell away.

It's so easy to fall away. You miss a workout, or have an extra cheat meal. You decide that you can wait until next week before you start back on your fitness régime. That next week never comes. Since you haven't started back on your régime, you decide you don't need to eat healthily, and end up not taking care of yourself at all. It's so easy to fall away.

So, I'm back. And this isn't the first time I've come back. Through all the time you guys have been living your healthy lifestyles, I've been coming and going and not always posting here. I got a desk job where I hardly have to move all day, I've been paying for a gym membership I have barely been using and I've been eating way too many takeaways. I have been drinking a fair bit of beer, which is to be expected of a Scot, but not to be excused. I'm 25 years of age and feel 40.

There you are, that's me. First plan of action is to cut off a bit of fat. Under the fat, I have a fair bit of muscle and I want to keep that. Also, I have some stretch marks from the last time I lost a load of weight quickly. I'm not sure if they appeared quickly because I lost the weight so quickly or if it was when I put it back on.

Any hints on how to get rid of stretch marks would be appreciated

Please point me in the direction of a good starting out routine.

I also no longer live with my parents. I have no excuses for not eating healthily!

Wish me luck and please send me any routines you think I would be able to use.

Thanks for reading.
