I've been lurking the forums for a while now and I have decided it's the best time to start losing weight.
Right now I'm doing online schooling,I work and I'll be back in regular school in February.
Right now I weigh 190 and my target weight is 140, I'm 5"5 and 17 years old. I'm sick of going through my Highschool being the pudgy kid.

I'm going to be coming up with a schedule very soon but I wanted to know if I have the "right idea"

From what I have read I should be have 5-6 balanced meals a day.

Here's a list of items I have easy access to with my mothers normal shopping list.

Tons of veggies
Tons of fruit
Unlimited purified water
Chicken breasts
Eggs
100% whole wheat bread
Protein shakes
Oatmeal
Peanut butter (careful on the servering I know ^.^)
sweet potatos
ect (All I can think of at the moment)

I will have 2 40 min workouts a day.
(Can't combine them need time for work + school work)

first
10 min warm up,10 min cooldown
Working out on punching bag
Lifting free weights, using home gym I have
skip rope

second
At night head to the track and jog, run, jog run (10min warmup + 10min cooldown)

I also don't have too much activity besides work. Wich again doesn't have too much exercise either so I am mostly seated throughout the day.

I need to lose 1.5 - 2 pounds a week to reach my goal and I am taking ANY advice thrown at me.

I have read alot of the stickies and it still seems confusing. I'm guessing it's one of those things that will take a while to get used to.

Anyways hey guys!

Hello everyone,

I also joined. Fitness has become one major concern nowadays and I want to remain updated on that.

Forum will be most suitable to get latest information on what is happening currently. And that is the reason I joined.
