Actually, just above my left butt cheek.

Yesterday I was stupid and when my new barbell arrived I decided to deadlift almost my biggest lift without any warm up. I'd not considered warms up before, I'd just done them because I knew you were meant to. Now I feel pretty stupid.

It's deadlift day today. Should I carry on with it? With a proper warm up might I be alright? I also have squats and bench today, would they be alright? Or should I just rest? This was a really dumb thing to do as I have a week rest coming up anyway and I'd rather not miss my last 2 sessions.

Thanks.

If you feel pain don't do it. You don't have to make it a rest day just don't do workouts that would cause more pain or even go light. No point in risking injury cuz then you can't lift even longer.

Cheers for the reply.

I've actually just got back from the gym. As the day went on it stopped hurting. While at the gym I made sure I warmed up properly and by the time it got to the DLs I figured it would be ok. Turns out I managed to lift my heaviest yet and felt no pain!
