I recently got back from visiting my family in Ocean City, NJ. While I was there my sis-in-law took me to this place to try a 'Banana Whip'. It was soooooo good. They had a special machine that you feed frozen bananas into so they come out like soft serve icecream. You can get toppings on it or leave it plain. I had chocolate chips in mine-it was vacation after all!

When I got home I played around with it and found out that you can get the same result using a blender; a food processor would work too.

Place 1-2 peeled, sliced or broken up bananas in the freezer for about 6 hours.
Once frozen, put bananas in blender or processor and pulse until soft serve consistency.
Either eat plain or if a cheat snack add whatever you like. (This is for one serving)

Wow... thnx!:tu: I tried it and I think it tastes great! I usually put in some splenda and some almonds on top (slice them into really small chips) and it feels like I'm eating it with chocolate topping:lol:. I will try adding some water or milk to it tomorrow.

I'm glad you like as much as I do. When I came home from the store today all of my bananas went into the freezer! I love guilt free eating!:eat:
