Muscle soreness should never be an indicator of a good workout, strength increases should be. Muscle soreness is solely an indicator that your body is doing something new, and something it's not used to. It's being put under stress that it's never felt before. If you want to be sore, then simply do something completely different every time you workout. When it comes to weight training though, if you're consistent your body will adapt to it, and you will no longer get sore like you used to. I rarely feel soreness these days. |
