Has anyone here cooked with Quiona grain before? I found some at the local whole foods market, and am told it is high in complete proteins, and low in carbs, as far as grains go. However, they sell it bulk (thus no packaging to read over), and didn't have the nutrition facts handy, such as calories per serving, and fat, carb, and protein levels. I've looked all over the net and can't find anything about it. I'd love to try some in my diet, but I have been pretty strict with myself about counting calories and percentages on the spreadsheet I have made... if I can't find the numbers for something, it doesn't go in my body.

Somanatan,
Iuse Quinoa, Aramanth and rolled oats after my workouts usually. It has a "different" taste for sure. I enjoy eating it. Make sure you soak the grains for awhile before eating and run clean water over them through small strainer. They need to be washed really good before eating.

Here is the brand I use and it shows the nutritional content.
