Read the T-Nation article on BCAA's by John Berardi.
In it he states that nominal consumption of BCAA's will decrease Serotonin.
Serotonin is low in people with a history of depression.
Which is why they take SRI drugs like Paxil,Welbutrin,Prozac,etc.etc.
His article states that if your Serotonin is too high you will become under-motivated for exercise. So the upside of BCAA's is that you will feel more like working out it says.
For the medically knowledgeable in the JSF community, what's your take on this?
