This (http://deputydog.wordpress.com/2007/06/11/top-10-physical-transformations-for-a-film-role/) was an interesting read. There are several more that are arguably just as impressive that come to mind. I have no argument with the Christian Bale pick as the biggest changes. The Machinist was pretty scary looking, only to be followed by a pretty impressive Batman Returns. I wonder if there were some drugs involved in that swing... Otherwise, muscle memory works great! :D ;)

Bale has to be clear winner...the Machinist was almost painful to watch. Considering he had a near perfect physique before that (american psycho) and then went to Batman, that's pretty amazing.
