I don't think I can do anything to change it but every morning when I wake up my thumb is swollen at the top knuckle. I wear a ring on my thumb and I have to wear it on a different finger for a couple of hours until the swelling in my knuckle goes down. I've had problems with my thumb in the past(I think I broke it once). It never really hurts but I'm just curious if the swelling is no big deal or if it is a sign that something is either wrong with it now or probably will be in the future. I'm kind of worried that it is going to end up being arthritic in the future.
